Women's Golf Starts Season At Folds Of Honor Collegiate


Arizona Women’s Golf will start their 2024-25 season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate taking place at American Dunes Golf Club. The Cats travel out to Michigan, to take on a field of 15 teams with five of them ranked inside the preseason top 25 including Arizona. A three-day tournament taking place this Monday through Wednesday with portions televised live on Golf Channel.

Folds of Honor is committed to helping the families of fallen or disabled American military families. Since 2007, they’ve worked to provide life changing scholarships to these families as Folds of Honor understands the value of education and the opportunities it creates. They’ve provided over 52,000 educational scholarships and have now expanded to first responders and their families too. TV Schedule

Throughout the tournament, you can catch the Wildcats live on the Golf Channel TV and Peacock. It will be airing Monday from 6:30am-9:30am, Tuesday from 1:30pm-4:30pm, and Wednesday 8:30am-11:30am (All Times In MST).

Heading Into Tournament

The Wildcats have six returners from last year back, led by Carolina Melgrati, Nena Wongthanavimok, Lilas Pinthier and Julia Misemer. This event will be the first for new head coach Giovana Maymon and assistant coach Brady Campbell. Both coaches have had success in their past, with Maymon playing a part of three consecutive seasons of reaching match play at the NCAA Championships at Texas A&M, while Campbell guided his team at Colorado St. to back-to-back top 3 finishes at the Mountain West Championships.
