Dores Seeking Another Win – Vanderbilt University Athletics – Official Athletics Website

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. – The No. 12-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team looks for its second-straight team title to open the 2025-26 campaign, as the Commodores head to Ooltewah, Tennessee, to participate in the Invitational at The Honors Course this Monday and Tuesday.

Tournament Format and Schedule
The Invitational at The Honors Course, hosted by Chattanooga, is a five-count-four, 54-hole stroke play tournament. Teams are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday, then return to The Honors Course on Tuesday to conclude the tournament.

Both days of the tournament begin at 6:40 a.m. CT. Teams will roll into Round 2 at the conclusion of Round 1 on Monday. Tee times for Tuesday’s finale will be based on the results of the first two rounds.

Course Information
The Honors Course is 7,400 yards and plays as a par 72. Located in Ooltewah, Tennessee, north of Chattanooga. The course was founded by Coca-Cola heir Jack Lupton and designed by Pete Dye in 1983. It has been the No. 1-ranked course in the state according to Golf Digest and was the site of the 1991 U.S. Amateur, 2005 U.S. Mid-Amateur and two NCAA Championships in 1996 and 1997.

Vanderbilt Tee Times
Vanderbilt opens Round 1 on Monday between 7:30-8:10 a.m. CT, with Hartman teeing off at 8:20 a.m. CT as an individual. Teams will roll into Round 2 on Monday afternoon. Tee times for Round 3 will be set at the end of Round 2. Fans can click here for a full list of pairings each day.

The Field
A total of 12 teams will be at the Invitational at The Honors Course. Seven of those programs are ranked in the preseason GCAA Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll. Along with the No. 12 Commodores, No. 2 Auburn, No. 5 Ole Miss, No. 7 Virginia, No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 17 Tennessee, No. 19 Pepperdine, Clemson (RV), Duke (RV), College of Charleston, Marquette and host Chattanooga will compete in Ooltewah this week.
