Bears Head to John A. Burns Intercollegiate



Cal Men’s Golf Heads to Hawaii for 3-day, 54 hole clash

BERKELEY– The California men’s golf team continues its 2026 spring season, heading to the John A. Burns Intercollegiate in Lihue, Hawai’i.
 
The Golden Bears are one of 19 teams competing in the par 70, 7,098-yard Ocean Course at Hokuala. Competition begins Thursday with the teams playing 18 holes each day.
 
The Bears will look to build off a promising sixth-place finish in their opening season tournament at the N.I.T. Freshman Xihuan Chang led the Bears with a seven-under par 209 in the tournament finishing in 10th place, while sophomore Ziqin Zhou finished in 18th place with a five-under par 211.
 
The Bears will tee off at noon PT with a shotgun start each day.
