HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Sophomore Elin Pudas Remler carded a career-best 66 and is in second place in the individual standings, and the No. 26 Florida State women’s golf team is in second place in the team standings heading into the final round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at the Long Cove Club.

Pudas Remler carded six birdies in the second round and is just one stroke out of the individual lead with 18 holes to play. The Seminoles are just three strokes out of the team lead with two players in the top 10 of the individual standings and will play in the coveted final group of the final day with No. 9 Texas and No. 8 Arkansas.

Texas has a two-day total of 567 and leads Florida State by three strokes. The Seminoles finished with a 1 under par team score of 283 to strengthen its hold on second place in the team standings. Florida State is eight strokes ahead of Arkansas and LSU who begin play in the final round in a tie for third place in the individual standings. Farah O’Keefe finished under par for the second consecutive day and leads the individual standings with an 8 under par scores of 134. Florida State Pudas Remler is one stroke behind with a career-best 36-hole score of 135.

Pudas Remler carded six birdies and 17 holes of par or better golf as she came within one stroke of tying the school record low score of 65. She finished her front nine with three birdies and a 3 under par score and totaled a 2 under par score on her back nine to complete the best round of her career. Pudas Remler beat her previous career best single round score by one strake as she carded a 67 in the first round of the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational during the fall of 2024.

Pudas Remler will play for first individual championship and second career top-five finish in Wednesday’s second round. She finished in a career-best tied for third place at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in her first career collegiate event as a freshman at the University of Kentucky.

Sophomore Sophia Fullbrook maintained her position in the top 10 and she carded a 1 over par score of 72 in the second round. She is in a tie for ninth place in the individual standings with four other golfers. Fullbrook enjoyed a solid round with two birdies and 16 holes scored a par or better. She was one under par on her final 11 holes of the day with two birdies.
