Sun Devil men's golf hosts Thunderbird Collegiate April 10-11 at Papago Golf Club

The Sun Devil men’s golf team hosts Thunderbird Collegiate on April 10-11 at Papago Golf Club, with 36 holes on Friday and 18 to follow Saturday.

The 53rd version of the tournament will have nine teams will step into the tee box, with Arizona State (No. 9) and No. 21 New Mexico leading the way, along with Long Beach State (28), UCLA (31), Utah (32), Colorado (43), San Diego (47), Oregon State (61) and Grand Canyon (92).

Tee times start at 7 a.m. both days at the 7,419-yard and par-72 course.

ASU has won the past three Thunderbird Collegiate Invitationals but will have to do it without 2025 champion Fifa Laopakdee, who is competing in the Masters this weekend.

Arizona State has won the Thunderbird Collegiate 23 times, includng the past three and four of the past six since moving to Papago Golf Club in 2019…three-straight wins are the most by Arizona State since ASU won three-in-a-row from 2017-19…the 39-under last year set the 54-hole team score vs par, topping the 38-under from 2024.
