Leading the Demon Deacons in her first time out at the NCAA Championship, freshman Cartoon Rujiranan opened the tournament at one-over, with a bogey-free back nine. Sophomore Chloe Kovelesky and junior Macy Pate turned in rounds at two-over, with two birdies apiece.
Senior Anne-Sterre den Dunnen totaled the most birdies of the Deacs during round one, with four total. Graduate student Morgan Ketchum tallied an under par front nine and averaged two-under on par 4s, tied fourth among individuals

The Deacs return for round two of play for the morning wave, with first tee off at 10:25 a.m. ET. Wake Forest is paired once again with Duke and Arkansas with live streaming available via Babygrande Golf.
