North Carolina’s Ing Iadpluem made four birdies and shot 1-under-par 71 in the second round of the 2026 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship on the North Course at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
The Tar Heels moved up one place in the standings to a tie for 18th after shooting 6 over par in the second round. Carolina is 11-over 587, one stroke out of 15th place, through 36 holes. The top 15 teams after Sunday’s third round advance to Monday’s fourth and final round of stroke play.
Reagan Southerland (72-75) leads UNC at 3-over 147. Iadpluem (77-71), Megan Streicher (75-73) and Marie Prats-Rigual (73-75) are tied at 4-over 148, and Helen Yeung (74-75) is 5-over 149.
Stanford leads at 12-under 564, three shots ahead of USC and five better than Oklahoma State. Those are the only teams below par.
A trio of players – Stanford’s Meja Örtengren, Texas’ Farah O’Keefe and Ole Miss’ Kajsalotta Svarvar – are tied atop the individual standings at 6-under 138.
