All three Deacs wrapped the 2025-26 season ranked inside the top 50 on Scoreboard, with Pate leading the team at No. 21. Additionally, each earned victories across the fall and spring seasons, with Pate and Kovelesky posting consecutive title victories in the fall and Ketchum earning her first title this season as a co-medalist at the 2026 NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
Kovelesky and Ketchum’s efforts in Tallahassee helped the squad to the program’s 60th title, while also securing Wake Forest’s 11th consecutive NCAA Championship berth.
With a scoring average of 70.1, Pate posted her lowest adjusted average of her career, with her first career-victory at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup and two top-5 finishes.The junior earned a career-low 54-hole score of 202 at the Stephens Cup, with season-low rounds of 67 during both round one and three of the tournament.
As a group, the trio accounted for over 75 percent of the team’s rounds under par, spanning the entire regular and postseason.
Gathering her second All-American honor, Kovelesky finished her sophomore season with four top-10 finishes, four top-5, and second career-title as a co-medalist at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate. That following weekend, the Boca-Raton, Fla.-native turned in career-low 54-hole and 18-hole scores at the Stephens Cup, to tie for second.
Both Pate and Kovelesky recorded their highest finishes so far at the NCAA Championships, with Pate finishing T28 and even par throughout the championship.
Averaging 70.7 scoring (adjusted) across 30 rounds, Ketchum completed her collegiate career ranked No. 48 on Scoreboard with four top-10 finishes and her regional victory. The graduate went 6-under-par during the final round of the Tallahassee Regional to help the Deacs and herself to victory. The score marked the lowest final round individual score at regionals, passing Jennifer Kupcho at 5-under in 2018.
This upcoming Thursday, Kovelesky tees off at the U.S. Women’s Open, with Lyons Family Associate Head Coach Ryan Potter alongside as her caddie. On July 3-5, Pate and Kovelesky will team up at the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup, as they represent Team USA at the Tralee Golf Links in West Barrow, Ireland.
