» First-round play at the VyStar Credit Union Gators Invitational was suspended due to heavy rains at the Mark Bostick Golf Course.

» The 14-team field will return Sunday morning to finish the opening round and immediately head into a final round as the event will now be 36 holes.

» Michigan is currently in sixth position with as many as six holes remaining for the Wolverines’ starting five.

» U-M is looking to defend its team and individual title at the event.

Next U-M Round: Sunday, March 5 — at VyStar Credit Union Gators Invitational (Gainesville, Fla.), 7:45 a.m. (shotgun)

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — First-round play at the VyStar Credit Union Gators Invitational was suspended due to heavy rains Saturday (March 4) at the Mark Bostick Golf Course. The 34th-ranked University of Michigan women’s golf team is currently in sixth place with all five starters having as many as six holes remaining in the first round.

The entire 14-team field will return Sunday (March 5) morning to complete the first round and go immediately into a final round as the Florida-hosted tournament has been reduced to 36 holes.
