LOS ANGELES – Trojan alumna Gabi Ruffels mathematically clinched her 2024 LPGA Tour card after recently claiming her third win on the Epson Tour in 2023.
Ruffels, the No. 1 money leader on the Epson Tour, secured her spot at the next level after winning three tournaments during the 2023 season, including the latest victory in South Bend, Indiana, at the Four Winds Invitational, Aug. 10-12.
The former All-American for the Women of Troy continues to wreak havoc on the golf course, as she has dominated the 2023 Epson Tour. Ruffels has produced three wins, including one at the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic, the Garden City Charity Classic at Buffalo Dunes and the Four Winds Invite. Alongside those championship showings, the Australian native has six top-ten finishes, including three straight top-five finishes. She has collected $156,283 in 12 events played, over $40,000 more than the current second-place earner.
Every year the Epson Tour acts as a direct pipeline to the LPGA, as the top-ten money leaders earn their LPGA Tour membership. Ruffels will have plenty of time to hold the top spot in the money rankings, as six tournaments remain in the 2023 season.
