Famara offers a range of art-inspired golf and athleisure wear. All products are uniquely designed, including the sheer sleeve golf shirt and, combined with the brand’s A-Line Art skort, I was keen to test it out in purple, a color which seems to be dominating this season.
This shirt isn’t new for 2024, but due to its popularity, it’s become a year-round wardrobe staple and now comes in an incredible 10 colors, with four more in production.
It’s made in a polyester and spandex mix and the fabric feels almost velvety, as it’s super soft to touch and you can feel its generous stretch even before putting it on. Personally, I like shirts or sweaters with a quarter zip that extend to the top of your neck, as you can regulate your body temperature, and the zip on this shirt is nicely concealed.
The sheer sleeves with a delicate ladder mesh detail and neat fitting cuffs are what set this shirt apart from other women’s golf shirts. It also has an unobtrusive Famara logo in white on the left side of the chest and at the bottom of the right sleeve. This is a glamorous golf shirt and I would be more than happy to wear it on a day-to-day basis.
It’s true to size, very comfortable to wear next to your skin as a base layer and the stretchy fabric allows you to swing a golf club without any restrictions. Famara is a brand that’s designed for women by women, so it’s not surprising that the shirt has a subtle yet feminine cut, flaring very slightly at the bottom to sit attractively over your waist and hips.
It’s difficult to fault this long-sleeve shirt, all-in-all it oozes luxury and, if women feel they look good, then hopefully they’ll play even better!
