Men's Golf | Gordon Earns Tour Card

BOISE, Idaho – Former Vanderbilt men’s golfer Will Gordon claimed the title at the Albertsons Boise Open on Sunday and, in the process, secured his card for the PGA Tour next season.

After starting the day in a tie for 13th place, the former All-American carded five straight birdies on the back nine at the Hillcrest Country Club on the way to firing an 8-under-par 63 in the final round of the first event of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals. He posted a 21-under-par 263 72-hole score to match the duo of MJ Daffue and Philip Knowles, who he would go on to best on the opening hole of a playoff.

Gordon ended the regular season with back-to-back top-five finishes, with the victory moving him to the top of the Korn Ferry Tour Finals Eligibility Points List.

He has made 43 career starts on the PGA Tour, highlighted by a tie for third at the Travelers Championship in 2020.
