The Missouri women’s golf team is set for its second tournament of the 2023 spring season when it competes at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona.

TOURNAMENT INFO

The Westbrook Invitational is set to begin on Sunday with 36 holes of action, followed by an 18-hole final round on Monday. Both days begin with 9:30 a.m. CT shotgun starts.

Joining the Tigers in Arizona is No. 36 Charleston, No. 44 Denver, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota, No. 49 Nebraska, No. 24 Ohio State, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Penn State, UNLV and Wisconsin.

COURSE INFO

The tournament will be held at the Westbrook Village Golf Club. The 18 holes measure 6,248 yards long and is a par-72 course.

LAST TIME OUT

The Tigers opened the spring campaign by placing third of 14 schools at the Paradise Invitational in Florida Feb. 6-7.

Mizzou posted a two-under 862 during the three-round tournament with only nationally-ranked Vanderbilt and Nebraska finishing ahead of MU. Sophia Yoemans recorded her first career top-10 finish outside of Columbia with a two-under 214, while Melanie Walker capped the strong tournament by carding a four-under 68 during the final round – the lowest round by a Tiger this season – to finish 14th overall at one under.

LAST TIME AT WESTBROOK

The Tigers are making their first appearance at the Westbrook Invitational in three years when they placed 10th of 16 schools in 2020. Current senior Sophia Yoemans was 37th that year with a three-round total of 217, finishing the week with a one-under 71 during the third round.
