Stitch Intercollege to be Played on Tuesday


RALEIGH – Following a postponement of the original two-day, 54-hole, Stitch Intercollegiate due to inclement weather, Duke men’s golf returns to Lonnie Poole Golf Course for a 36-hole event on Tuesday.

The original tournament field has been altered due to the postponement and now consists of Duke, hosts NC State, Appalachian State, Campbell, Elon, Georgia State, High Point and James Madison. 

The Blue Devils’ lineup remains the same with Luke Sample, Ian Siebers, William Love, Kelly Chinn and Ethan Evans. Duke also has four individuals competing Jimmy Zheng, Daniel Choi, John Peters and Daniel Uranga

Both rounds are played on Tuesday, beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Duke’s lineup is scheduled to play alongside James Madison and NC State and tees off on the 17th, 18th and 1st holes. The Blue Devils’ individuals start on holes No. 10 through 12. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.
