Men’s Golf Falls in SEC Quarterfinals

The Missouri men’s golf team saw its run in the SEC Championship end on Saturday morning, falling to No. 15 Texas A&M in the quarterfinals.

Making their third-ever appearance in the quarterfinals, the Tigers dropped all three completed contests in the best-of-five matchup. Jack Lundin fell 3-and-1 to No. 50 Sam Bennett, while Antonio Safa and DJ Springer both dropped 3-and-2 decisions to No. 52 William Paysse and Daniel Rodrigues, respectively.

Charlie Crockett and Alfons Bondesson were both within one stroke when the match was finalized.

The Tigers now aim for a bid in the NCAA Championship with the selection show slated for May 3.
