2024 Pac-12 Men's Golf Championships Heading to Carefree's Desert Forest

Since joining the Pac-12 in 1978-79, no program has won more men’s golf league titles than Arizona State. Sun Devil Men’s Golf will host the 2024 Pac-12 Men’s Golf Championship at Desert Forest Golf Club April 26-28, the program has announced.

“We have a once-every-twelve-years opportunity to host the Pac-12 Championships,” notes Sun Devil men’s golf coach Matt Thurmond. “It’s a very special event with a rich history and we think Desert Forest is the perfect place. It has an amazing natural desert feel and it is known to be very challenging. The relationship between Sun Devil Golf and Desert Forest goes back decades and it has always been a deep part of our program culture and experience. We can’t wait to host the Pac-12 at Desert Forest in April 2024 and are sure that the other teams will enjoy it.”

Sun Devil Athletics are no strangers to providing the finest experience for collegiate golfers. From 2021-23, Arizona State hosted six combined NCAA Championships for men’s and women’s golf. The events brought in nearly 500 different student-athletes and more than 80 colleges and universities over the three years, all in competition the for the highest honor in collegiate golf.
