LET GOLFERS TAKE PART IN JUNIOR CLINIC AT 2023 FREED GROUP WOMEN’S SCOTTISH OPEN

LET GOLFERS TAKE PART IN JUNIOR CLINIC AT 2023 FREED GROUP WOMEN’S SCOTTISH OPEN

On Thursday afternoon at Dundonald Links, players who are competing in the 2023 FREED GROUP Women’s Scottish Open Presented by Trust Golf participated in a clinic for juniors.

The clinic was hosted by Gabbie Partington and saw LET stars Magdalena Simmermacher, from Argentina, and Czechia’s Jana Melichova volunteer their time with juniors from Prestwick St. Cuthberts Golf Club and Prestwick St. Nicholas Golf Club.

Simmermacher and Melichova showed them various shots and how to prepare for playing in the wind. After each shot, the juniors had a go and put into practice what they had learned from the professionals in a fun atmosphere moderated by Partington.

As part of the Ladies European Tour’s (LET) and Titleist’s commitment to women’s golf and in the spirit of the LET’s mantra, #RaiseOurGame, the tournament’s market leading Pro V1 golf balls used on the practice range will be donated to local junior golf programmes.
