Bulldogs Finish Second at Weather Shortened Blessings Collegiate Invitational

JOHNSON, Ark. – Weather ultimately won the final round at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational, as play on the third day of the tournament was suspended and ultimately canceled. The final standings reverted to the results from the second day of the tournament, which saw a team finish of second and a pair of Bulldogs finishing within the top 10.

Julia Lopez Ramirez finished second in the tournament, which marked her 16th career top five finish. Julia finished her second day carding a 66, which put her total at 7-under. Lopez Ramirez’s second round score marked her lowest round since the 2023 NCAA Westfield Regional, where she carded the same score.

Chiara Horder earned her best finish as a Dawg in the shortened tournament. Horder finished in eighth at the Blessings as she shot one-under. Chiara tied her best round in the maroon and white on the second day of the tournament as she carded a 71. Horder rounded out a field of eight golfers who shot under-par individually.

Next up on the schedule for the Bulldogs is their annual home tournament, The Ally, which begins October 23. The event will take place at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point.
