CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville junior Sebastian Moss has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Golfer of the Month for September.
Moss posted a pair of individual victories last month, claiming medalist honors at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Rod Myers Invitational in Durham, North Carolina, becoming the first Cardinal golfer to win back-to-back individual titles. Following a top-40 finish at the Valero Texas Collegiate to open the month, the Pearland, Texas, native recorded a stroke average of 67.7 in his next six rounds.
In the two victories, Moss combined to shoot 23-under par, headlined by a second-round 64 during the Rod Myers Invitational. With Moss leading the way, Louisville tallied a pair of second-place finishes.
