Vanderbilt Women's Golf | Sara Im Named to AJGA Junior All-America Team

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s golfer Sara Im was named to the 2023 Rolex Junior All-America honorable mention team, the American Junior Golf Association announced this week.

Im is in her freshman campaign with the Commodores and earned the All-America honor as one of the top junior golfers in the world. 2023 marked the fourth time Im has garnered Rolex Junior All-America honors.

Over the summer, Im finished T17 at the U.S. Girls’ Junior at the Eisenhower Golf Course in Colorado Springs, Colo. She also captured a third-place finish at the Mizuho Americas Open – AJGA Juniors in June.

In her first semester at Vanderbilt, Im has competed in three tournaments and posted a par of rounds under par. She closed the Carmel Cup with a 2-under 70 at Pebble Beach and followed with another round of 2-under 70 to open the Mason Rudolph Championship.

The Rolex Junior All-America Teams annually recognize the world’s premier junior golfers. The 2023 class includes 48 boys and 48 girls, ages 14-19, from 20 states and eight countries, including Canada, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States. The teams were determined exclusively through the Rolex AJGA Rankings as of October 11.
