Cougs Hosting 2024 Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships April 21-23


PULLMAN, Wash. (April, 19, 2024) – The Washington State women’s golf team is set to host the 2024 Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships at Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Wash. April 21-23.

The Course and Tournament Format

The Palouse Ridge Golf Club course will play as a par-72 at 6,324 yards. Teams will play 18 holes each of the three days, starting on Sunday, April 21 with rolling tee times starting at 9 a.m. PT. Monday, April 22 will also have tee times starting at 9 a.m. PT before the final day on Tuesday, April 23 will have tee times starting at 8 a.m.

The Field

In addition to the hosting Washington State team, the rest of the 11-team field includes Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Southern California, Stanford, UCLA and Washington.

Last Time Out

The Cougs last competed in the Bobcat Desert Classic April 8-10, finishing in 11th place at 18-over, 882 at the par-72 Golf Club of Estrella. Madelyn Gamble led the Cougs, tying for 11th place among individuals with an even-par 216.

WSU Golf

Head Coach Sofie Aagaard is in her second season leading the Cougars. The 2023-24 Cougar squad returns four members from the 2022-23 squad, including junior Madelyn Gamble, who ended last season with a third-place finish at the 2023 Pac-12 Golf Championships.
