QUOTABLES

“We hung in there and stayed tough down the stretch,” Sun Devil Men’s Golf Head Coach Matt Thurmond remarked. “The key is to limit mistakes and let the rest take care of itself. I am pleased with the way we are focusing on ourselves and keeping the right mindset.”

“This course punishes wayward shots and Wenyi Ding does not hit many of them,” Coach Thurmond observed about his leading freshman. “We just need him to remain consistent and manage the course like he is capable of. He is doing a great job of leading this team and setting the tone.”
