Utah Golf Completes Final Preparations in Scottsdale


SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Utah men’s golf team completed their final preparations for the 2022 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships on Thursday, playing their final practice round at the Grayhawk Golf Club. The squad was able to gain a feel for the par 70; 7,289 yard Raptor Course and dial in before the start of the championships tomorrow morning. 
 

For tomorrow’s opening round, the Utes will be apart of the morning wave as their tee times are set to start at 9 a.m. MT off the 10th tee. Coming in as the #29 seed, Utah will be paired with Georgia Southern and the College of Charleston for the first two rounds. All three teams will tee it up with each other on Saturday during the afternoon wave, starting at 2:20 p.m. MDT off the first tee.

 

Martín León will kick off the championships tomorrow morning with the first tee time of the grouping at 9 a.m. MDT. Braxton Watts follows teeing it up at 9:11 a.m. MDT and Tristan Mandur will be the middleman for Utah going out at 9:22 a.m. MDT. Javier Barcos and Blake Tomlinson will be the final Utes to go out at 9:33 a.m. MDT and 9:44 a.m. MDT, respectively.
