Women’s Golf Announces 2022-23 Schedule


LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women’s golf program on Friday officially announced its schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season. The Bruins will play in a total of 10 regular season tournaments, beginning at the USF Intercollegiate at the historic Olympic Club in San Francisco on Sept. 12-13.
 
In its second event of the season, UCLA will compete at the highly anticipated Blessings Collegiate Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. from Oct. 3-5. The 54-hole stroke play event will feature 11 of the top women’s teams across the country and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. PT.
 
The Bruins play next in the East Lake Cup (Oct. 24-27) held at historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga., which also airs live on Golf Channel from Oct. 25-27.
 
UCLA concludes the fall portion of its schedule at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, on Oct. 31-Nov. 2 where they finished runner-up just three seasons ago.
 
The Bruins spring into the new year with 36 holes at the Match in the Desert in Gold Canyon, Ariz. on Jan. 23, 2023.
 
Two weeks later, UCLA competes at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif. from Feb. 12-14. The event, which was established in 1996, changed its name from the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge to honor the 30-year legendary Ohio State women’s golf head coach Therese Hession.
 
The Bruins make their return to The Gold Rush on Feb. 27-28 after a runner-up finish at last year’s event.
 
After a trip to the Vystar Credit Union Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fla. on March 4-5, the Bruins head back to Hawaii for the University of Hawai’i Spring Break Classic on Maui from March 27-29.
 
UCLA closes its regular season at the ninth annual Silverado Showdown in Napa, Calif. from April 3-5.
 
Postseason play begins April 17-19 at the Pac-12 Championships at Papago Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz.
 
The NCAA Regional Championships are scheduled for May 8-10 at four campus sites. The top four finishers at each site will advance to the NCAA Championships held May 19-24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
