Bardwell Concludes Play at NCAA Regionals

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Senior Mikayla Bardwell completed the final round of the NCAA Franklin Regional on Wednesday.

The Lewisville, Texas native had her best round of the Regional, shooting even par on both the front and back nine holes to card a 72. She finished tied for 33rd place at +6 overall.

“I played pretty solid today for my best round of the three days,” Bardwell said. “I saw more putts drop today so that was really nice. I gave it my all and had another great ball striking round. It is so crazy that my career at Tennessee is finished.”

Bardwell now brings her incredible career at Tennessee to a close. She was the team stroke average leader her junior and senior years and currently holds the record for the top-two lowest rounds in program history, one of which being the 63 she carded at the SEC Championship last month.
