Mississippi State Ends Record Season At NCAA Championships

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – No. 18 Mississippi State ended its 2022-23 campaign at the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Bulldogs finished tied for 25th with New Mexico.

Only three of the 15 teams advancing shot under par through three rounds.

“I could not be prouder of this team and all they accomplished this year,” head coach Dusty Smith said. “They showed heart, grit and toughness all season long, and for them to accomplish what they did is very rewarding.”

Hunter Logan led the team after 54 holes, finishing in a tie for 55th. He carded three of his six tournament birdies in the third round.

Garrett Endicott tied for 81st in his first-career NCAA Championships appearance. Austin Vukovits rounded out his final round with a bogey-free back nine.

“Ford, Austin, Ruan Pretorius and William Wann are going to be missed next year,” Smith added. “They provided so much to our team over the years, and it will be tough to see them go. I am excited for the future as we continue to build and make the climb.”
