STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford women’s golf program was announced as the No. 1 overall seed and will head to Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Washington, May 8-10. Stanford has made every regional field dating back to 1993.
 
Regional play will take place May 8-10 at six regional sites, with a total of 396 student-athletes competing. All six regional sites will have 12 teams and six individuals. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site, 156 student-athletes total, will advance to play in the national championships to be played May 19-24 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Championship play will be hosted by Arizona State and The Thunderbirds, with the final three days of the championships televised live by the GOLF Channel. 
  
Pullman Regional Site
The Pullman Regional will be played at the Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman, Washington and will be hosted by Washington State. Conference automatic qualifiers are indicated in parenthesis next to the institution.

Individuals:

The tournament features 54 holes played over three days with the top five teams and one individual from non-qualifying teams advancing to the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships, beginning May 19 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
 
The other five regional sites are Westfield, Ind. (Indiana), Raleigh, N.C. (NC State), Athens, Ga. (Georgia), San Antonio, Texas (UTSA) and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (FAU).
 
As a team, Stanford has six wins on the season and is led by No. 1 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, Rose Zhang. Zhang has tied the school record with six wins this season, coming off a dominant seven-shot victory at Pac-12…
